My musical journey, my travels and my thirst for discovery have led me to develop a rich and varied artistic identity. Whilst I appreciate Western classical music, I am equally interested in the oral traditions of different cultures. The projects that fascinate me are those that offer creativity, improvisation, exchanges with composers, and moments of connection with the audience. I am involved in several projects, each one different from the next, and when asked what kind of music I play, I often reply that it is difficult to define – that is what characterises me and what I love!

Furthermore, for nearly 15 years, I have been involved in the world of folk dances, and the connection between rhythm, the body and the voice fascinates me, both in my artistic practice and in my teaching approach.

All these experiences have led me to create a solo project, in which I use my instruments to offer poetic music, to be listened to and danced to. The repertoire consists of original compositions and arrangements of traditional pieces, mostly Belgian.
